Soy Sauce Mmmmm!

This short film shows how soy sauce is made in Yuasa Town, Wakayama. Film director Mile Nagaoka talks about the origins of where soy sauce came from. A Japanese priest in the 13th century after coming back from China created a process of making miso (a soybean paste) that he learned from the Chinese. It’s a process that hasn’t change in over 750 years.
